Can I let you in on a little secret?
The best is yet to come. As we have passed the threshold of a new decade, it is more evident that our Savior is about to return. That is such a great feeling for God’s people.
More than ever, we should unite ourselves to take God’s Holy Word to all corners of this world. Thank God for men and women who go to the mission fields to preach the Word. The Congregational Holiness Church is truly leading the way. We are laborers in God’s harvest.
Sometimes it’s the small things that can mean so much to the World Missions Department. Maybe it’s the car wash that you can have to raise money or the penny march for children so they can take part. Getting everyone involved is God’s plan. The bake sale, yard sale, or even giving a once-a-month offering to your local church is all ways to make a difference. We can and do make a difference; a big difference. What if we asked our church family to give an offering that costs the same as a Big Mac, French Fries, and a Drink? It doesn’t sound like much, but if you and I unite together it will feed thousands. We can build churches, orphanages, or medical clinics. Even more than that, our ministers in remote places and all around this world will be able to carry the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and that means that literally tens of thousands of people will come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. What a difference it will make! LET’S DO IT!” Let’s unite, show your church strength in uniting with others, and see the vision come to pass. If we stand together in unity, we will be unstoppable. If God be for us, who can be against us?
